Writing With An Open Heart

If you ever tell me you’re lonely,
I would keep you company,
Sit in the darkness with you until your dawn appears.

If you ever tell me you’re afraid,
And that your fears keep holding you back,
I would walk this road with you,
Until you’re able to run through it.

If you ever tell me that it feels as if we are mountains apart,
And the distance is affecting you,
I would leap, without hesitation , just to be closer to you.
