Never dance with the Devil….

Never dance with the Devil
You are so damn fine, yes you are. You are like Black Velvet whiskey, Straight, easy to drink and smooth as silky kisses and erotic dances at the midnight hour.
I told you. Never dance with the Devil. She will tempt you and make you want some more. You will be owned you and scar you forever. Some woman are sweet, kind and a safe haven. I know you are not.
I know if I kissed those soft and tender lips, I know if I looked into those wild and untamed eyes. I’m lost forever.
I told you often. I love your voice. Your voice like sweet honey will make me want to fall to my knees and make me beg for mercy before I have sins.
I know you are crazy and you make me want to know crazy.

Run Away With Me- Michael Erickson

Go Dog Go Café

I wish to ride upon a wave of daydreams,

To leave this slice of boring gray life.

Run with me upon a mountains edge,

That we may find ourselves floating upon a sea of stars.

Dance with me around this delicious fire,

As creatures of our childhood share with us their feast.

Sing will we within a forgotten hall,

And cast upon our enemies a sleeping spell.

Run away with me to the end of imagination,

And watch as the sunrise of a new day washes over this infinite plane.

Let us laugh and not look back,

While diving into a sea of creativity.

If we don’t get everything right now, and that includes the point of some article or book, we become bored or angry. Technology has made it so easy for us to get instant gratification, that we no longer have the patience for or the concept of waiting.

But life shouldn’t be expressed in five minute increments. We really need to start seeing the world without technology once in a while. We need to try to view the world with our eyes instead of…

… with every problem comes a solution

Purplerays

Often, when you are on the spiritual path, there is a war that goes on between the person you once were and the person you are becoming. The old you is comfortable with the way things were and are. The new you views problems as challenges, knowing that with every problem comes the solution.

Happy Groundhog Super Bowl Sunday, Day – Daily Quote

Jo Hawk

happy groundhog day

During October and November, my personal prognosticator was showing his face on my back patio. We are experiencing a mild winter, but I have seen no sign of him. I wonder if he will realize what day it is, make a fateful appearance, and tell me spring is near. Hopefully, he will share his secrets and not force me to rely on Punxsutawney Phil.

Today is an astronomical holiday, the year’s first cross-quarter day, to be specific. A cross-quarter day falls halfway between the solstice and the equinox. Falling on February 2, they also call it Candlemas or Imbolc. The other three cross-quarter days are May Day, May 1st, also called Beltane; August 1st, Lughnasadh, or Lammas Day; and October 31st, Samhain, or Halloween. In our set calendar system, and with the leap year, those exact days vary somewhat, but they offer some interesting traditions to explore.
