Strangled life

Beans, Pen & Nirja

Be with me even on those times of life,

when I can’t find the words to tell you, why I am hurting

A gentle hug and your warm presence

on those cold moments of life heal me

I am an abandoned home,

I just need someone to fill the void

and I can smile once again

I am happy with you

I have always been a depressing human

and this squeeze the life out of my soul into sadness

and, the worst is I can’t tell you, I lack the words to express my feelings

Stratosphere I

Heartstring Eulogies

“Could you tell how much I feared
I would hurt you?”

I remember flying in your stratosphere, riding the high that was you. Your eyes. Everything about you screamed to me, “He’s too good for you,” or, “How could I ever be enough?” But the worst was, “I’ll ruin him.”

Though I wasn’t sure why those thoughts hit me in those perfect moments we shared, but they were there, lurking beneath the surface of my eyes.

Could you see it? Could you tell how much I feared I would hurt you?
