A Six-Word Story
Cast from the Shadows, Now light my Way 🕯🔥
Your Kings and Queens hit the ground like rain. Far and wide, and light years away….the one force of nature they call by name.
He walks a path with no trail, she reached out and took his hand. It was him with the distorted vision, because reality her eyes could understand.
The clocks had always stood so still, this they were able to manipulate time. But the world was slowly starting to spin, obvious differences were starting to align.
A rhythm of raindrops fall from the retina, making a symphony of splashes on the floor. Down the cheek like shooting stars, tears begin but nevermore.
Walk through the door of disagreement, and pretending it happens not. Swing on stars and slide down rainbows, so they can meet you at the next stop.

Are Poets possessed?
Or just “special”?
We have a gift
We turn words into images
In the mind of the reader
Our words create feelings
A reader can “taste” our words
Feel a kiss
Smell a night blooming jasmine
All from words we have created
In the magic of our imagination
As a poet, I use my gift of words
To entertain and motivate
We write for ourselves
But affect others
Yes, I am possessed
And I am special
I am possessed
By the special gift
Of poetry writing
