How could it be wrong?

— Killing kids is no big crime —

It happens in schools

NOTE: Cigarettes must be good for you: You can buy them everywhere.

davidbrucehaiku: FEELING DIFFERENT

Spiraling – #poetry #depression

Night Owl Poetry - Dorinda Duclos

Overwhelmed by simple tasks
What is this I have become?
Sadness, behind my smiling mask
Truth is… I am feeling numb

Emotional, at the slightest change
Tears flow, and for no reason
Even to myself, I feel quite strange
Perhaps, it is that time of season

Where leaves once painted the trees
Now they lay, lifeless and brown
I watched them whirl, in the breeze
On their way, swiftly, falling down

I can relate to the leaves, you see
I’ve spiraled with them, for so long
Much like a twister, roaming free
Yet, unknowing if I truly belong

Under The Milky Way With You ~ A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet

Walt's Writings

As we walked along the shore
Under the Milky Way
Just holding hands and talking
Enjoying the sound of the waves
You were into country music, jeans and horses
I was into rock & roll, drums and oceans
So little in common
But so much in love
As I looked up at the stars
I wondered how we ever made it
But we did
And I now enjoy country music
Wear boots and live in the country
And have two horses
I again look up at the Milky Way
And whispered
“Thank you”

“Enjoy yourself… The years go by, as quickly as a wink. Enjoy yourself, It’s later than you think”

Art of Quotation

As a birthday gift to myself I’m taking a blog-free holiday for the remainder of 2019. Wishing you all the best of the rest of this year and depart singing along to this tuneful reminder:

“You never go to night clubs and
You just don’t care to dance
You don’t have time for silly things
Like moonlight and romance
You only think of dollar bills
Tied neatly in a stack
But when you kiss a dollar bill,
It doesn’t kiss you back”

Song quotes from “Enjoy Yourself“, 1949. Recorded by Guy Lombardo and Louis Prima

Music written by Carl Sigman and lyrics by Herb Magidson.

Enjoy Yourself, (It’s Later Than You Think)

You work and work
For years and years
You’re always on the go
You never take the minute off
Too busy making dough
Someday you’ll say
You’ll have your fun
When you’re a millionaire
Imagine all…
