I awoke this morning like the cat stretched my limbs spread my claws yawned widely, flashed my incisors, just to let the day know I meant business. When I was sure the dust motes got my message I leapt from the bed, sauntered to the kitchen rubbed up against the coffee maker to show my appreciation I sat at the table like the queen lapped up my coffee and with my motor running trotted over to my window seat plumped the pillows settled into my day job - neighbourhood watch after all, I can't let the world go to the dogs... ©Heather Carr-Rowe
