Your Very Own Guide to Growing Bonsai Trees From Seeds!

When we are asked about how to grow a bonsai tree, we mostly reply with stem propagation, where we take a leaf or a stem from a regular tree to make a miniature tree, which is a bonsai. What if I were to tell you that that’s not true? We can grow a bonsai from scratch! What a rewarding process it will be to watch a bonsai grow from the start! It takes a little time, but if you give it your love, care and your time, it will flourish under your care and grow up to be a beautiful bonsai tree.

Also, nothing can be better when you can be involved in every part of the bonsai tree’s journey to adulthood. That bonsai tree will be your very own baby! How do we do this? From seeds! In this…

Feature Friday – Kat Kinney

Sarah Doughty

Heya Lovelies,

Here’s Day 11: Feature Friday

This week’s feature goes to Kat Kinney.

I’m really late, but my Feature Friday goes to the lovely Kat Kinney of @katkinneywrites.

She was one of the first urban fantasy authors I connected with there and she has been a champion ever since. I can’t wait to start this series.

Plus, she not only read Just Breathe, but she gave a five-star, raving review for it on Goodreads. This has to me my favorite line:

The book does an excellent job of mixing in outstanding worldbuilding and a strong urban fantasy plot with a steamy romance that threatened to incinerate my kindle with some hot scenes in the bedroom!

When We Stand – a poem by Paul Vincent Cannon

“What a dishonour to just bend down and obey fate.” Lesya Ukrainka

When We stand

What is a moment,
when is a journey,
how do we step through shadows
in the long night of winter's approach,
cradled in short views of chance and
change, rattled by a murderous chill
that encroaches the edges of my
dreams in little hints of insanity,
carried by a darkness of heart.
What is a moment,
when is a journey?
The journey begins in the moment
when we seek an end to oppression.

Turn Deaf Ears

Annette Rochelle Aben

Pushing people away

How her loneliness shows

She says that’s how it goes

Shrugging shoulders

But for those who know her

They see it’s more than that

Rolled up the welcome mat

Hid the doorknob

Asking others to change

Never makes it better

So, others say let her

Have her own world

She’ll stay where she wants to

Watching through drawn curtains

One thing is for certain

She calls the shots
