Retire Those Thoughts

Confab With Me

Have you noticed
how some unwanted thoughts,
and some unscrupulous cogitations
that you arduously fought,
never escaped you,
revisiting you
in the wildest of time,
meeting you uninvited
without many purposes
ruining your peace
pressing the palpation to inadvertently increase

When such moment presents
how about you plan
to retire such thoughts
leading yourself to some serene abode

Forgive me…

johncoyote

Forgive me…

Please forgive me for what I did to you.

I’m sorry I torture you with lies and treated
you as I did.

I was young.
Learning to love.

Finding the many mistakes young lover’s can make.

I left you alone and swimming in tears and loneliness.

I hope all your thoughts of me are not filled with hate.

But filled with fond memories of two lovers learning
to touch and to love.

Even through our ending ended in anger and sadness.
We allowed the world to separate us.

You are still a beautiful face and tender memories I can’t forget.

I hope I didn’t destroy your desire to love and feel.

I hope your new beginning are filled with happiness and joy.

I hope you didn’t throw away all the love we held and gathers.

You came and said goodbye to me.
I was leaving Germany.
We held…

The silent sea

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"The ocean, memories and old dreams.”

We can be humble by true beauty.
Life can weaved us to places and situations.
Blushing beauty can besiege our heart.

Heaven and hell is at our finger tips.

Sweet girl wearing her red dress.
Dancing with the beat of the music.
Her short skirt moving with the music allowing the vision of her garter belt
and beautiful legs to be seen by me.

We can drink and sink into sorrow or ascent into the exquisite of true beauty.
I watch the girl wearing her silk dress and a chain of pearls.
I fall into perfume dreams. Guiltless thoughts of her in her night dress.
The night dress falling to the ground and her falling into my arms.

Sweet Beatrice came to me.
Told me I promised her walk on the bay.
She fall to her…

The Poet…

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"Good to be the word man. Good for the heart and soul to release thoughts to paper and pen. "

      The Poet…

Many moons ago in the city of Monterey, Ca
I create many friends at the many Poetry readings.
I would read three days a week in the evenings.
I led some and I was a reader/listener.
They honored me by calling me the Poet.
I believe the greatest honor is when someone who loved the word.
Honored you by calling you the street Poet.

I learn many lessons from the old and new writers.
Good words I hold close and I tried to live by.

There are many ways to live and many ways to die.

We can chose to laugh, dance and celebrate each new day or
swim in the sorrow of hide and see misery and self-pity.

Scarborough fair….

Scarborough fair….

I once dance with the prettiest gal at the Scarborough fair.

I told her, I wanted to marry her and to make her smile every day of her life.

She smiled at me and she whispered into my wanting ear.

You soldiers love to make promises and you volunteer for war.

Men want to test life my dearest and the soldier shall learn.

Dead men keep no promises and war, is a heartless bastard.

Let’s dance and kiss,

maybe pray too.

I love you my soldier and my wish is,

for you to keep your promise to marry me.

I will wait for you near the sea.

My Lagan love

The loveliest girl in Scotland learn the loneliness tale.

She learn love promises were meaningless and she was alone.

She told the sea, my lagan love,

he made promises to be broken,

left great emptiness to be…
