Remember Them ~ #poetry #WOTD #DWP

Night Owl Poetry - Dorinda Duclos

How quickly we can forget, those in desperate need

We hoard away material things we really don’t want

While thinking we’re living an illustrious life, indeed

We should never forget those, with faces, so gaunt

No Debate about It ~ #poetry #WOTD #FOWC #RDP #DWP

Night Owl Poetry - Dorinda Duclos

Imagine all human idiosyncrasy, gathered in one place

It could surely stretch the imagination, to create this

The only absolute is, we are all of different face

On the upside, there’s no way, anyone can debate this

Word of the Day – Upside
FOWC with Fandango – Idiosyncrasy
Ragtag Daily Prompt – Stretch
Daily Word Prompt – Absolute

Life Moves

life
moves
down a path
strange
yet known
like the soft cheek
untouched
but kissed
or the moon
distant
and understood
in the liquid reflecting pools
of the eyes
seen
unseen
seeing
blind
felt
in the dark
shining
through tears
reaching
probing
always
seeking
strangely
known

life
moves

its
juxtapositions
positioned
sublime

Writing in the Dark

Charmed Chaos

writing-1209121_1280

“While I’m writing, I’m far away; and when I come back, I’ve gone.”–  Pablo Neruda

In the darkest hours
when loneliness calls my name
stormy tears threatening
with thunder and lightning pain
and I refuse to see the torrential rain.
Instead, I pen sun soaked words
painting colors on my barren soul
basking in their glorious power
a shining light making me whole.

I like to see the eyes

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"When we truly can see. The eyes allow us into true places and mystery."

I like to see the eyes…

I don’t like when I can’t see the eyes.
The eyes can tell you a thousand stories.
They can warn you to escape or make you wish to stay
to be able to gaze into the gentle and loving eyes.

Sweet women so necessary to form a life.
They can give you the chance to desire love, life and give you purpose
to be alive.

When a women desire. She can look into your eyes. Take you to hell or heaven
with a glance. Make you wish for everything or nothing.

I made a wish for the woman with the laughting eyes. Kind eyes that make you
dream and hold hope. I want the girl who sing…

She kissed me once and once only

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"I read the great Writer Jack London again. Gave me some positive motivation. You must read “When God laugh.”"

She kissed me once and only once…

A great and wise writer Jack London told me many secrets.
I learn you can’t defeat the Gods.
They have twisted sense of humor.
They will allow us to know victory and swim in the ecstasy of the win
than steal the joy and happiness.
Leaving the victor with dead land, homeless people and new hate being reborn.

The trickery of the Gods are brilliant.
Men will dance on the graves of their enemies.
Then the dead will rise up and take back what was lost when the victor
become old and weak.

I wonder do the God’s pity man for his hate and violence?
Does he turn away from…

Mirrored soul

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"The song of youth become the song of things lost when the Fall days of life is here "

                        Mirrored soul…

The half-drunk poet told the beloved night. I saw the veil of heaven and I have tasted death breathe. I am the son of the forest, the water and the sky. Now my shattered vision know only envy, hate and wrong deeds. In the dark tavern, the mirrored soul sings the oldest and saddest songs.

Merry men shall go, merry men shall seek dangerous women, merry men will seek war and hell-bound dance. Merrily men will taste blood, death and turmoil. He will learn too late. He should have sought peace and calm, not war. He looked at the stranger’s face in the tavern’s mirror and he remembered a…
