“I’m not sure words can express
how lucky I feel to be yours.”
It was your determination that drew me in. Your confidence. It was the words you spoke when you promised that giving us a try wasn’t going to end with disaster. It was the devotion afterward. The way you wouldn’t give up. That you kept proving again and again that it was the right decision. That there were never any regrets. And whenever I asked why you loved me, your answer was always the same.
“Didn’t you know? We were meant to be together.”
I’m not sure words can express how lucky I feel to be yours.

Lonesome Whistle
Lonesome Whistle
I hear that lonesome whistle
of a train filled with
broken hearted lovers
on their way to nowhere
same time, every Thursday
9 AM Central Time
they all knew the risks
when they fell in love
life’s lessons can be painful
broken hearts are hard to mend
the clacking of the train
wheels are like the creaking
floorboards of their hearts
but they hope the lonesome
whistle will give them
a new start

Description for the visually impaired; A feelgood message recently glued to a street-light post on the corner of my street. As Chéri mentionned (he’s the one who noticed the sign)… ”This is so you!”
🙄Suspiciously Saturday🤭

1. Lucky dip is self explanatory when it comes to gifts, but how did it originate? Because it was a barrel full of mousetraps and only one present, if you didn’t get your fingers caught you were lucky. 🐁
2. Why is seven considered a lucky number? Ask Snow White, 😉
3. Why is thirteen considered unlucky? Because Christmas ends on the thirteenth day. 🎄
4. Why do they say elephants never forget? Elephants… what are elephants? 🐘
5. How did slippers get so called? They were originally made out of banana skins. 🍌
6. What are the doldrums? The timpani section in a tiny orchestra. 🥁
7. Do igloos have central heating? Not usually but the ones that do are known as puddloos. 💦
8. What was a jamboree bag? They were used or keeping unneeded scouts in until banned in 1905. ⛳
