Lavender Fields – Poem by Ali Grimshaw

flashlight batteries - Ali Grimshaw

tending melancholy rows of dusk
swaying scented thoughts
light eases away toward your side
of the world

barefoot
I close my eyes
to listen

our Mother Earth
is singing us home
