Soundtrack
“So please, don’t stop the music.
Don’t ever stop being mine.”
Darling, you’ve got the music in you. You had it all along. You thought your heart was shattered. Your soul was in crumbles. Your body a ruin. But you never stopped the music. You never stopped being the soundtrack of my life.
Darling, I could still hear you singing. I could still hear the melody in your breathing. I could still get lost in your eyes like they were oceans. But it only made your soul sing louder. Like those irises were loudspeakers. I could hear every cord. Every note. The tempo was paced to my beating heart. And it was the most beautiful thing I’d ever heard.
So please, don’t stop the music. Don’t ever stop living. Being mine. Don’t ever let me go.

Darling, you are my soundtrack.
Beauty In The Cracks
“Despite the tragedy, there was beauty in the cracks.
We shared the scars of our survival.”
It was the breaking. That beautiful moment when I knew everything had changed. The moment I realized I wouldn’t be in this dark prison forever. It was the moment I knew I wasn’t the only one falling apart. I wasn’t the only one learning to breathe fire. Learning how to stand tall. Learning to use my voice once again. Despite the tragedy, there was beauty in the cracks. We shared the scars of our survival.
And there will be more as we overcome it all. Rise up when we are finally ready.

And that day will come.
Together we will rise.

Ghosts And Dreams
“Oh, but darling, my dreams are only
ghosts without you in them.”
I built my life on hopes and dreams. I found you and you made me believe anything was possible. You made me believe they would come true. You made me believe in happy ever afters.
And I know. I know how complicated and difficult life can be. But this world is cold without you. I can feel it beneath the surface. I can feel it without your touch.
So please, don’t leave me buried in broken dreams. These dreams are only ghosts without you in them.

My Never Ending Love ~ A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet
You are everything to me
My world
My life
My reason for living
My beginning
My end
And everything in between
I love the way the starlight
Caresses your hair
You are my moment of forever
That will last forever
The touch of your hand in mine
Continues to excite me and seduce me
You are my life
My inspiration
And my strength
you are the poetry
That flows through my veins
When I write about love
I’m thinking of you
For everything is better
When I do it with you

Alone And Lonely ~ A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet
He was just an old man
His cap said Vietnam Vet
I could tell that he was lonely
As he sat there on that bench
So I sat down next to him
And thanked him for his service
His face lit up as he smiled at me
He told me that no one else
Had talked to him that day
He said he sat there everyday
He had nowhere else to go
All his friends had passed away
He had no family left at all
So he spent his days here in the mall
Remembering his yesterdays
We talked for several hours
Until I had to be on my way
I learned a valuable lesson
From a Vietnam Vet that day
When you see an old man
On a bench in the mall
Take the time to say hello
It will brighten his day
And you will find
That it…

Nightdream Meadow ~ A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet
Come
Walk with me
Through a nightdream meadow
Dance with me
To a beautiful moonsong
Hear the eagles cry
As we approach the Wall of Wishes
The bagpipes play a forest lullaby
As we become Masters of Time
Time stops while we watch
The fairies dance and play
As the sun starts to rise
We find our way home
The beautiful harp melodies
of Omnia welcome us home
As we close our eyes and sleep

Another Lonely Night ~ A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet
It was one of those nights
A night for the lonely
When the bar is empty
And the bartender
Doesn’t feel like talking
You really want a cigarette
But there’s no one
To smoke one with
So you sit alone
Nursing your drink
Hoping someone
Will walk through the door
But nobody does
So you finish your drink
And head on home
Another night alone
Just you and Netflix
You were a fool to let her go
