I could not ask for more…

I could not ask for more…

I told my grandchildren, choose the road you love, dance, sing and be fearless.
I learn many moons ago, I had enough and I told the rising sun. I could not ask for more.
I held my two month grand daughter yesterday, she smiled for me and I knew. I had everything I needed.
I saw in her eyes, love and trust.

My children are doing well. Now once busy man make time for them. The best days, babysitting my three grand-boys.
My greatest wealth, the beach days and our mystery day adventures with my grandchildren. I know, life is more than me. We are what we leave behind.

Our children, our grandchildren. The true wealth of a life.
My children asked me. What do you need dad? I tell them I am the richest man I know. I have the family near, happy and…

Can you catch a falling leaf?

Can you catch a falling leaf?

The days of October are here and I did the greatest sin. I returned to a place of magic trying to find the scent of yesterday. Time had passed, the young man became older and he wanted to taste a memory. He sat in downtown Ann Arbor and he wrote into his journal.

“Can you catch a falling leaf?

Can we return where we knew the folly of first kiss, bearing heart and soul without caring about the consequences? I love you dear Julie, I love you lovely Julie. I remember you, do you remember me?”

He called a woman yesterday. 30 years ago, he left her sleeping alone with tears in her warm bed to fight wars that could not be won. She allowed him to leave, giving him the mercy of a silence goodbye and she knew he would not return the…

Nature’s Fireworks

Roth Poetry

Nature’s fire works of spectacular color can match any 4th of July fireworks! I stopped by the local garden store last week to pick up a few things. While there, I could not help but see the beautiful Hibiscus that were on sale. Just like exploding fireworks Hibiscus are short lived, lasting only about a day. I picked up three small orange ones that were on the reduced sale rack. Hopefully they will bloom and give me fireworks for the rest of the summer!

Blogging Insights- Level of commitment

Keep it alive

Tanya is the host of Blogging Insights

TODAY’S QUESTIONS

How committed are you to your blog?

As my regular readers know that I started blogging on a whim. I didn’t do any planning and had no prior experience or knowledge of the technical side of blogging. I even hadn’t written anything much after my college days. So it was a new experience for me. At first, I posted sporadically, whenever a post was complete, I’d post it. Gradually I was introduced to the various prompts in WP and I became more regular. Now I post 3-4 posts daily and I feel as if I am missing something when I don’t have my posts written and scheduled for the day.

So, yes, I can say that I am very committed to blogging!

Respond to this challenge, by either by using the prompt word free, or going with the above picture, or by means of the song ‘People Got to Be Free.

♾♾♾

You’re free
Free to speak your mind
But mind what you say is not hurtful

You’re free
To follow your dreams
But don’t trample on the dreams of others

You’re free
To state your opinions
But don’t force them on others around you

You’re free
To follow your faith and religion
But don’t despise those who have different views than yours

You’re free
Let others be free too
Only then we all can be totally free

“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest
secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will
