Sunday Poser # 34
Welcome back to another Sunday Poser

My question this week is;
How adventurous are you?
If I am asked to describe myself, I would say that I am a conservative, stay-at-home type of person.
But when I look back on my life, the facts belie this opinion I have of myself. I have not sought adventure by myself but when offered the chance to go out of my comfort zone, I have said yes.
I don’t mean that I would go skydiving or zip-lining at the drop of a hat but I have traveled abroad and lived there because my family needed me. I have walked three to four hours, exploring Manhattan and I have been driven to a very high mountain resort through a very narrow and torturous road, which bordered on a steep drop of thousands of feet. I include whale watching in my list of adventures too.

What do you see # 87 – A Roundup
Come Enjoy the Roundup!

♾♾♾
Being mindful and aware of the world around us is essential
So many messages and reminders scattered in our way
We can be motivated, inspired, or elated by them
Or we can choose to remain oblivious, ignorant of them
It’s our choice, every day, every hour how we respond
To these little bubbles of positivity we cross daily
Look outwards and you will see, look inwards and you’ll miss them entirely
Beautiful and fantastic responses to the WDYS # 87. Please click on the links to read the contributions of our wonderful bloggers.

You are enough for you!
Truly nothing is insurmountable
There is in you, the power
That manifests when you need it most
You may not know the strength
And capabilities that you are carrying.
But it is always there with you
Simply Trust in yourself
To be there for you!
You are more than enough for you!

Embrace Your Battle Scars
We all wear our scars. We have all faced difficulties in our lives, engaged in a battle with what is raging inside of us, a battle that no one else knows about.
We’ve all been afraid to tell others of our fight out of some misplaced sense of shame, or because of the fear of being laughed at.
Or simply because we thought:No one cares.
There are a lot of people who choose to suffer in silence rather than reach out for help because of one or all of those reasons. The consequences of suffering in silence are unhappiness, depression, or in the worst cases, suicide.
Problems are the most human thing about being a human, and they are one of the few things that each and every one of us has in common. Every single one of us is suffering in our own way, and being open about…

Yesterday Is Gone
The past is known to be a place that is no longer in existence, not present in time. Existing only in the mind, as memories and pictures, relived through thoughts and words.
However, for some, the past is more real than the present.
Even though we all speak of moving forward, we hold on to the past more than we care to admit.
‘Back then, hmm! …You don’t know me o…go and ask those who know’
‘What is he saying? My speeches were far better, it’s just that…’
‘She used to be crazy about me, now she’s forming big chic’
We find consolation in continually comparing the past to the present and how the present should resemble the past.
We choose to live there because it’s familiar.
We know everything that happened.
When the past was really good, you can live there because just thinking back on it gives you…
