For Writer’s Quotes Wednesdays Writing Challenge for the past weeks we have discussed topics that add to our well-being – nutrition, hope, faith, exercise. Starting this month we are going to switch to a new series of topics that are more seasonal. We start with summer.


First of all I must tell you that the meaning of summer differs widely in the Asian countries and that of Europe or the USA!

Summer for us means a long and very hot season, where we venture out only when we have to. In the school summer break, we usually head to the mountains in the north of the country or the coastal cities in the south. So, yes summer for us means an entirely different season than it is for those living in cooler regions.
