Rain Sang

The storm thundered in across the bay
like a drum roll on sheet-metal,
while the wind played tunes with leaves,

∼ and rain sang its song of healing ∽

Passing slowly across the grey sky,
falling to kiss the earth with life,
bringing silence and calm in its wake.
