Passing the mirror
To her, she is unseen
Here in the present
And somewhere in between
Echoes of another life,
Fill her mind
Clouded judgements
Mistakes, for which she’ll pay
Haunt her entire being
But there was no other way
Her mind filled with strife,
A life unkind
Never thought this would happen
Or what it would never be
Turning her back on someone
That certain someone, it was she
Remaining the dutiful wife,
Vows that bind
Moments pass, fleeting
She now realizes the path
Of where, at last, it will take her
Waiting, for the aftermath
Whatever possessed her to pick up the knife?
Still fighting her demons, she remains, confined…

Cry a tear
My heart still can bleed with pain and loss still.
Tears can fall when the night appeared and when your memory
reappeared.
The tears of loneliness.
Loneliness of losing you completely.
I could have survived without your kiss.
But never seeing your beautiful face.
Blessing me with hearing your sweet voice.
Leave me empty and alone.
Your love of life.
Is much too difficult to forget.
I miss our long talks and laughter.
Days have passed since our parting day.
And your memory still lies heavy upon my mind.
Sometime so heavy.
The thought of you make me feel weaken.
Not to tears.
The tears had faded way on a cold rainy night
when I left you alone in your bed.
The sadness of our goodbye…

Asked not I for a Chariot to ride in nor did I demand a palace Prince, I let pass, take on the cares of a legion is not my way Stars, I had many in my eyes, bother me not with one beside Jewels and wealth failed to entice, caps and fancy robes too did not sway A quiet place with light and air, a corner to read and write a coffee at times to tide me by, care and love from kindred souls much time to wonder and wander and freedom to soar heart and mind at peace, and I say those are all my needs........
