Every Minute Counts

Interstellar Poetry

What if we lost one minute for every hour that passed,
If we had less time to spare, would we fight to make it last?
Just think, one minute every hour, twenty-four each day,
Maybe losing time would make us not let it waste away,
Twelve hours gone per month, that’s half a day, now disappeared,
Twelve months add up and we lose six whole days within a year,
We don’t all die at the same age, some young and others old,
But in an average lifespan ‘bout one and a half years sold,
To some it isn’t that much lost, to others it’s a lifetime,
Remember this ‘cause soon you might wish you’d not wasted time.
