Poem ends

choices in error

Some say thoughts ruin everything and the end of a journey is just a place where we wait to be reborn. I’ll say maybe. I’ll also say that the sky changes on a dime just like my heart so don’t get too comfortable.

Forget what my skin tastes like
Or where your tongue belongs
Or how my lip feels between your teeth
Its my bones that ache for you the most
I want my petal skin
To slide into your hot bed of desire
I’m not looking for an afterglow
but an eternal illumination.
