
A second collection would follow the curves found in my first poem and from my cursive pen. This collection removed the me and ushered in the voices of many women. Poems written to empower the reader, also strengthened and upheld me, during a summer of lockdown and intensive heat. Each poem given to an illustrator, Sammi Lee, who in turn drew curves, animating my words with her digital pen. Our third collection was just released and with its final presentation, we are most pleased. Like all the poems that came before, the third collection surprised this poet, but I did not question or challenge their arrival; I let the words flow. Sometimes a soul-searching struggle, other times a tumble, the pages I began to fill.
