Deaf to her ears
Of his past whispers
As her thirst
For him vanishes
And her fantasies
By another’s desires
Quenched In the unknown
Forcing him into the Abyss
While she swims to another shore
Basking in the glow
Of a new found beat
Of the heart ❤
Watching him drown
As he clings to any hope
No matter how miniscule
For any glimmer of light

I can’t be your girl,
I’ll be your sweet muse instead
Waiting for your songs
You can’t be my guy,
But I’ll think of you each time

We would never work
So I’ll dream of us in words
To keep it alive
When I think of you
My mind creates a passion
Which I etch in rhyme
Yes, you provoke me
To write some sizzling lines
And long for the night
In the lead up to Valentine’s Day, I’ll be posting more than usual… because why the hell not. 😉🦊

I wish for those nights when you came to me in your sexy red negligee.
Your brown eyes taking the weight of the world away.
I tried to forget your beautiful face.
I pick-up another shot of whiskey and
I raise the glass up and I…

Sad brown eyes
A Poem by Coyote Poetry

I held her too tightly,
I didn’t hold her enough.
The fine line of giving and taking leave us confused.
Love held on by a few words that won’t last the night.
I tried to speak softly and don’t create a wall of hate.
When life’s disappointments surround you.
Slow down and think.
I closed my eyes.
Re-set my thoughts.
Allowed the pain to evaporate into the night.
I told her “I love you since the first moment I looked into your brown eyes..”
We sat together in a silence and I held her tightly.
I whispered. “Stop the fear and hate before the…
