One more time…

One more time…

Should I stay or should I go?
Should we create a fire, we cannot put out.
I whispered sweet baby, just one more time. Just one more kiss and just one more slow dance my love.

You are sweeter than candy and more tempting than the wild sea.
When you are near.
I want to fall down to my knees and taste your skin and us to strip down to bare skin and real face. Peel away fear and disappointment. I want to know what you truly need and want.

I want you raw, nasty and free. Please show me your flaws and imperfections. I want us to go down, baby down. Down where lovers learn wonderful and sweet kiss and travel to the utopia of two people becoming one for a moment.

If You Knew

Frank Solanki

If you knew how many poems
I have written in your name
If you knew how much I’ve changed
But love you still the same
If you knew how much I want
To see your face again
Hear your voice and touch you
To heal me of this pain
If you knew how much I suffer
Without you here all day
Even heaven seems to pale
Like a dim light far away

If you knew, oh, if only you knew
How my heart yearns for you
Then you’d forgive me for sure
For you’d know my love is true

Let It Be A Lesson

I Write Her

with fiery determination and focus
all the color drains from her hand
she sadly becomes a catwalkcasualty
flying off her glass stilettos
the jaunty rhythm and flow disturbed
it was her ankles that gave way
forcing the dramatic fall
her head suffered a blow or three
falling from the stage in slow motion
onlookers gawked in unity
next stop the crematorium’s furnace

Whose Ripples Have Ceased – a poem by Paul Vincent Cannon

Photo: Hardy Inlet Augusta

“Each of us is an artist of our days ….” John O’Donohue

Whose Ripples Have Ceased

The beginning of beginning,
completely life changing
which is no small thing,
becoming unstuck,
imagining what it would
be like if we agreed and
pursuing a mind that sits
so still, like a lake whose
ripples have ceased to come
and go, accepting all that
floats upon it yet owning
none of it.
