And I’ve been searching for it ever since.”
The skies were empty the night you left. I remembered it like it was yesterday. Not a cloud was in sight, but yet no stars twinkled. No streaks of shooting debris across the atmosphere. It made me feel lost and lonely. As if I would forever be alone and without a light to guide my heart back home to me. You see, my heart left when you did. And I’ve been searching for it ever since.
