At dVerse Grace has invited us to once again look at synesthesia, this time music as colour.
“Although I see colours in every song, it’s the artist put his (sic) heart and soul into that produce the best images.” Melissa McCracken
The Yellow Thrum The prologue for a country pastorale was a warm summer's picnic basket where the oranges dislodged and fell into the sky a new palette which walked like a bass line thrumming deep orange right down my spine a glow turning crimson with vibrations lighting up the grey neutral neural centre with a blistering violin solo so thin it caught fire across the parchment of dots to be joined in a minor key, while the coda became a sombre capitulation to the merging rainbow pulsating backbeat defibrillating my plexus in bursts of visceral orange and yellow treble…

Either be your own vibe,
Create one that encourages you…
Why be in a place where the vibe is not right,
Where positivity is no where around,
Where you are insulted,
Where you are disrespected,
Where you are made to feel bad about yourself…
Why not be where there is a will,
Where hopes and aspirations are high,
Where there are talks of progress,
Where you are loved,
Where you are valued,
Where you are not used,
Where truth exists,
Where hopes dance on top,
Where smiles go wide cheek to cheek….
It’s all about vibes,
Spread happy vibes,
Vibes that set others free,
Not the ones that bound others….
Create a room of vibes where flying is allowed,
Where wings are not cut-off,
Where new ideas whisper,
Where thoughts are shared,
Where feelings are valued,
Where togetherness exists!
Hello everyone! This may sound like an odd request, but today I am participating in #PitMad on Twitter, a day long event in which authors tweet a pitch for a book to agents.
If any of you have Twitter, please consider retweeting my pinned tweet, which I will have put up.
My Twitter handle is @French_C1955
This is also important–do not like the pitch–that is for agents to let writers know they are interested in your work.
The tweet will be for my Young Adult Ecological Post-Apocalyptic novel The Ameriad: The Monastery of Knowledge. I will have the tweet up at 8 A. M. EST.
Again, thank you to all!

I want to confront you
I never want to see you again
Seething anger boils beneath the surface
Pain and Loss and Past
the rage drains
Head to toe
Out and away
And then I continue on
Walking along the path
Towards the future
Towards the brave new world
