Keep it alive

The dayafter the elections we watched with high spirits

Expecting a landslide victory for the democratic candidate

The results were coming in slowly but steadily

And after almost a week to our delight, we found

That our favorite candidate had won the election, albeit with a small margin

The channels covered the whole event deftly

And the losing candidate had nothing other to say

Other than allegations and a heap of lies

Well if he has the vocabulary of a spoiled brat

And can justify the use of covfefe as a legal word
