I’ve seen what you
will never see,
again 

Your life is better
in so many ways
but it doesn’t compare
to the glory days of
yesterday

Children today
know more than I did
back then they let me
live as a kid 

I lived a simple life
way back then
and I often wish
I could again 

I know more than
I really need to know
I know
simple
is a wiser way 

I daydream at sunsets
of a bygone day
that will never return 

I’ve seen too much

  1. We are trying to change to blue. We flipped our county, one of the reddest in the state! Maybe in the mid-terms??? Thanks for the cheering. I miss being in the majority like we were in Calie!

          1. OMG!!! Such renewed hope and I couldn’t be Happier as well. She is in San Francisco but to get time alone with 4 kids is tough. We were on a hike with no one around so that was awesome!!! Thanks and cheers to us and a land that we love Chuck!!! ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
