When a great moment knocks on the door of your life…

“When a great moment knocks on the door of your life, it is often no louder than the beating of your heart, and it is very easy to miss it.”

What If(Poem)

Fallen Angels

I know you’ve been busy

your job’s far from easy

But I’ve seen so much for us

we were closer than lust

Are you too scared to love?

do you not believe in soul mates?

What if we took things slow?

what if we decided to go out?

Would it be way too soon

to think you could be my boo

What if we sat down?

what if everything was cool?

Could it be me and you

laying in your living room

What if I met you first

before all the pain

Would it be easy for you

to fall for me too

What if you could trust me

what if I fell for you first

Love like you never knew

all your broken hearts would be through…

Good News!

Source of Inspiration

Thanks to all of you who sent prayers and good wishes for my speedy recovery from eye surgery yesterday. I had expected several days of blurred, limited vision but woke up this morning pain-free and with clear vision. I am thrilled. The doctor checked me and was equally surprised at how well I can see. She actually prayed with me before surgery…a first for me. Add to that all the people who also prayed for me and I have an amazing recovery. Since I have vision only in this eye, it is a very special blessing to be able to see again. Thank you, sweet readers, for all your prayers. I love you more than you can imagine. Hugs, pat
