🌹 Loving You is All I Know 🌹

Come read this romantic piece!!

BRAIN FREEZE

Loving you is easy cause you’re beautiful, and everything that I do is out of loving you.As we both lay on our backs in the grass, we look into each other’s eyes. I trace my fingertip from star to star, while writing your name in the sky.

With your poetically hypnotic accent, I hang on every word you say. I can practically tell you how I feel, about you night and day.

Sometimes people say things, just to fill up the conversational space. Other times words are simply uttered, to witness the expression on someone else’s face.

But I don’t speak to you for a rebound response, nor do I recite because I enjoy the flow. You tell me you’re aware of the things I say, but Loving you is All I know.

I’m not familiar with Freud and all his theories, I can’t tell the difference between a…

Sunrise In Fentress County, TN ~ Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet

Walt's Writings

Fentress County, Tennessee
A Small distressed county in Middle Tennessee

Small towns, small minds
Typical small town politics
It’s a dry county – no alcohol
Overflowing with used car lots,
Churches, and Fast Food
If you want to experience the
The thrill of being labeled
An Outsider”, move to Fentress County
Not much to do here
Only one single screen movie theater
Bingo at Senior Center
Horseback riding trails at the Big South
Fork National River and Recreation Area.
Boating at Dale Hollow Lake
But there’s a world going on outside
The country we live in
Country music and Bluegrass abounds
The Fentress County Fair, Demolition Derbies,
Horse and Mule Shows, Mule Pulls
The World Famous 127 Show, almost
700 miles of bumper to bumper yard sales
Every early August
And less than 2 hours from Nashville!
So relax, it’s sunrise in Fentress County again!

Fandango Friday Flashback- Being Grateful

Keep it alive

I am sharing this post from 8 May, 2019, as a part of Fandango Friday Flashback.

It’s easier said than done. We are always hearing these words: Be mindful and be grateful. So we try to be. But what it actually means, to begrateful?

Being grateful is not a random act. It is a constant way of looking at life. It is coming out ofjejuneand simplistic thinking. If something good or positive happens in our lives, we are happy. We may say that we are grateful. But being truly conscious of the blessings and positive things in our lives means that we acknowledgeboththeir presence and their loss. If we have good health, we acknowledge it and appreciate it in a manner that would enhance this blessing, that is an example of being grateful. And if we are no longer in good health, instead of…

Beneath Cloistered Bowers

Don’t miss one of Linda’s best romantic poems

Charmed Chaos

Flicker.com

Here beneath tendrils of green willow tree
Where sun seldom kisses darkening shade
A secret world exists for you and me
As we patiently wait for light to fade

Once brilliant sun sets, pale moon rises high
Your hands find their way to my secret place
From my lips escape pleasurable sighs
As my fluttering heart begins to race

Shedding our clothes beneath cloistered bowers
Time slips away, day blends into night
Whiling away tender passionate hours
Safe from prying eyes, hidden from their sight

Oh! My darling pray this night never ends
For here in your arms I’ll forever spend
