You said you’d never
Move on from me
That you couldn’t live
Without me
I was hoping on that
I was hoping
I was worth
The wait
I was hoping
I wasn’t waiting

Keeping Six Feet Apart
Poems from Walsall Poet Richard Archer
Even though we wanted to be together it just didn’t last,
we wanted to move forward but strayed into the past
a trial separation that became permanent too fast.
So now we’re living six feet apart.
I leave you kisses on a post-it note
remember your perfume by hugging your old coat
as we no longer touch and that’s what hurts the most.
As now we’re always six feet apart.
Today I walk under the sun to where you lie under the ground
knowing that if I met you again on a crazy rebound,
that we’d still mess it up a second time around.
And that we were always destined to be six feet apart.

Tuesday’s Thoughts!
It is the last week of April, and we have been having April showers, but we haven’t yet today. Looks like we will be celebrating another family birthday in quarantine. My husband’s is on Sunday, May 3rd. Think we will go out …. to the back porch! Perhaps if its a nice day, we can have a campfire in the evening. Roast some S’mores. Yum, right? What can be a better combination than graham crackers, golden brown marshmallows and a chocolate bar? Brings smiles to my taste buds. Enjoy the following quotes, and may they bring smiles to your heart!
Acceptance & Peace Go Hand in Hand – Thriving Under Pressure
Shift your focus. Change your life. Consciously accept the good and the bad that exists in your life. The rain and the sunlight. The shadow and the light. Accepting what is does not lower the bar. …

blue moon ~
sweet
the quietude becoming
ashes blown
now blue
the moon
recalled to breath
another summer
a long cold porch
leaving soon
the memory
of goodbye

Finding Solace
The Girl With The Scorpion Tattoo
“All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone”
Note:Honestly, I’d fallen in love with this word, Solace for a long time. But did you notice, when you pronounce the word; Solace, you’re ending it with a smile? Or am I the only one who felt so? Mm.. It may seems to look awfully obsessed with selfishness. But I want to find put my meaning to it..
There in these excerpts from Maria’s diary; “eleven minutes”, I have developed a liking – is it the words she expressed or is it the writing style? Something that wishes me to write in her way and I know it’s a wish, neither two individuals are alike… Maybe it is way too long I haven’t read a fiction, but I found it nice… I found solace in these words. Her story of womanhood, hopes, love, sex, dreams…
