Rain pours down at the close of the day
Thunder rolls
The storm blows through
Earth is refreshed
Lilacs are blooming…
So close I can smell their fragrance
floating through my screen door.
I drink in Spring’s goodness
at the close of the day.

The castle you built inch by inch,
brick by brick
is standing tall today
all our relentless toiling and perseverance has paid at last,

And now that you are ready to embrace your dreams,
you are crushing it with your own hands,
for your heart is singing some other melody of life

How many times you have done it in the past
how many occasions you jumped ship
desiring for the new blue moon
while you change course
you don’t realize
these dreams are also of people you once called your own
and their despair self still hang in the miasmic surrounding
staring at oblivion
and displaying roughed emotions at large
