Room for the Divine
Room for the Divine
Donut Holes
Donut holes
little balls of extra
marketing clever ideas
ingenuity
What would the world
be like if
we spent as much effort
in our spiritual life
as we do in making money?

Who I Am
Empty, floating in the wind
Trying to find who I am
I try on many identities
Empty, floating in the wind
Looking far and wide
I look everywhere but inside
Empty, floating in the wind
Trying to find who I am
Empty
Empty box
full of possibility
play, store, carry
cat, child, I use differently
box of choices
A thing called Desire
Many thoughts crosses my mind,
like how you used to steal a smile between your hesitating ifs and buts,
and how you always hold my name on the tip of your tongue and addressed me instead sire,
the love ballads,
the carefree singing of songs,
the long waits for me to come and meet you crossing seven oceans,
how you desired me without even speaking a word,
how you made me feel a soul with meaning despite living in this brutal world,
Today I think of all such thoughts and some more,
and even when you are not around,
your love will lead me to live this life with hope some more

A Patient Haiku
silver-lined clouds drift
latent plants, contained in buds
wait, through winter freeze
