Gift of Gentleness
A gift of gentleness
Could never go wrong
Such is the strength of sublimity.
When wrapped in the warmth of kindness
When sent as a gift in goodwill
And sealed with heartfelt love and gratitude.
Soft is the way of the gentle at hearts.
Soft is the strength of the soul within.
How gentle are you?
Savvy
Not Ready?
If you are not ready,
it does not matter.
Readiness comes in its time.
Until then, we point
to external reasons our
life is not what we
want it to be–work, not
enough money, wrong spouse,
childhood trauma; the list
is endless. Yet there comes
a time when we are ready
to let go, to lay it all down.
This happens when we finally
know we know
a knowing of the soul
not of the mind
no one can tell you how
for when you are ready,
it will happen,
the final switch is made.
You are at peace
blessed serenity
full of soft edges
allowing life to
happen with no resistance.
Today’s Quote
Take care and be earnestly on your guard
not to forget the things which your eyes have seen,
nor let them slip from your memory
as long as you live…teach them
to your children and to your children’s children.
~ Deuteronomy 4:9 ~

Focus on the Big Picture to Fuel Your Day – Daily Quote
It lies on the horizon. Shrouded in mist, more of a mirage than anything real. Yet, when I squint, the fog falls away, and my imagination conjures missing details, adding color, definition, and clarity. It seems incredibly distant. It mocks me, hovering tantalizingly beyond my reach. The universe is fickle and refuses to divulge the roadmap. There are no instructions, no listicles of the exact steps to take, no hint of a path, or any sign anyone has ever passed this way before.
Inaction is not my friend. I cradle my ephemeral vision in kid gloves, protecting its fragile existence as I shoulder the impossible, and set to work. Obstacles arise, and I discover my own insecurities created the hurdle I must navigate. Facing unfounded worries, paralyzing fear, and self-destructive thought patterns, I stumble forward with relentless determination.
There are mountains to move, valleys to cross, and rivers to ford…

The Beauty of a Woman is in Her Eyes #Inspiration #Quote #Beauty
Photo by Claudio Scott on Pixabay
“The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows and the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.” -Audrey Hepburn
I love this quote by the transcendent Hollywood actress, Audrey Hepburn.
A person’s eyes tell a story.
They are a window to the soul.
Looking into someone eyes are an important part of communication, of building trust with someone, or to sense if there is a brewing distrust that needs to be repaired.
When you meet someone for the first time, try to make eye contact. Look at them with your eyes. It will show openness, curiosity and a genuine respect, signaling an interest to begin…

Sometimes,
it’s worthwhile
to long for home
and to find home
in your longing.

For Susan ~ A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet
These are samples
Of what I will do for you
I will take a bullet for you
Cry for you
Sign for you
Dry your tears for you
Bake a pie for you
Wear a Bolo tie for you
Eat cottage cheese for you (gag)
Write poetry for you
Watch Hallmark Channel with you
Keep quiet during General Hospital for you
Stay awake for you
Keep my head up for you
Do my exercises for you
Get better for you
Never stop loving you
