The Christmas spirit travels to and fro
from browser to browser
seeking wallets, purse and bank accounts
to enter
It worms its way through
hungry eyes
fooling its victims
with its tinsel disguise
Christmas oh Christmas
-show me where
you hide the grand prize!

It’s the difference in you
And the difference in me
That makes life so interesting
Don’t hate the differences.
You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.

_______________
To those who have been promised tomorrow
and throw caution to the wind today
and have not learned the lessons of
yesterday
How do you do it?
For those who have hidden their
nightmares better than others
-leaving them free to cast judgement
on all
How do you sleep at night?
To those who are judged
who feel that their personal hell is
entertainment for the judges
-don’t be fooled
They’ve just hidden their woes better than you
(Everyone has a thorn in their side)
Life is a head game
Some just play it better than others

Alabaster
in purest form.
Frozen diamonds
like tears from heaven.
Shimmery flecks
woven by the breath of winter.
Delicate intricacies
formed with care.
Fashioned for wonder
by the hand of God.
A split second miracle
marveled by all.
