My 2nd – 3 Days 3 Quotes – Day 3
Hey, all you beautiful souls. Hope you are having a great weekend. I was nominated by Kranti for the 3 Days 3 Quotes Challenge. Kranti has an amazing blog. Her blog always looks at the brighter side of life, reflecting many shades of human emotions in her vivid artistry. Besides great content, there is another reason I love her blog, for she lives in my neighboring state😊🌹. If you haven’t checked her blog, please do. I can assure you, you will not regret. You can read her wonderful posts here Sparkling Thoughts
This is the second time I am getting nominated for this challenge. If you have read my previous one you may have noticed I like to share my own quotes. Here is my Day 3 quote. Hope you like it.
For the last day, I keep it open for anyone to participate

Happy National Poetry Day
Warning…
There is a danger in the backlash
When the woman scorned
Meets the resolve in her backbone
Havoc knows no more dangerous animal
Than that of she who is also a mother
Do not tread upon these waters
Not For The Faint Of Heart
Your
life waits
for you to
engage with it.
You seriously have to want to though.
Dark Night Of My Soul – OctPoWriMo Challenge (Day 1)
Ignorant
“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.”
― Plato

I’m weighed down by my sins
nailed and crucified
time and time again
it bears a weight on my soul
the daunting
unbearable weight my
soul bears
Tugging and lugging this
sadness and despair
I drag myself everywhere
I carry those little stones
of jealousy, angst, and ego
for balancing the scales
Scraping my knees and
tossing and tumbling
I drag myself to eternity
praying for the redemption
under the bated breath
I wonder
why the gods have
turned away from me
This rising tide
which I’m caught under
with raspy and wheezing
breathing,
I’m too ignorant
and full of
false pride
to understand
the price I’m paying
for the sins of thee.
