Promote a Poet.Writer Thursday

Welcome to Promote a Poet/Writer Thursday! This is the day of the week where all members of the Go Dog Go Café Community are invited to introduce a Poet or Writer they enjoy reading.

Participating is really fast and simple- in the comments below, post the link for the Home Page of the Poet/Writer you are introducing to us and tell us briefly why you think they are special.

We encourage all of you to visit these blogs (or social media pages) and get acquainted with some great new writers.  You never know who you might meet. . .

Happy reading!

Learnt knowledge versus experienced knowledge

Didi's Art Design

How many things do we learn, copy
Without thinking, checking

We are loaded like a donkey
With knowledge that is not our knowledge

The more we follow this automatic process
The more we live a life that is not our life

Thousands of books cannot give us
What own experiences provide

In adopted outside knowledge there we meet death
While experienced knowledge fills us with life

Look around you, go ahead, look around you. Aren’t you more blessed than the rest who surrounds you? Fuck that excuse of being so pressured you don’t know what to do—yadah yadah yadah. Stop it. You know you’re a diamond, honey. And for you to shine brighter and have higher value, more pressure must be put unto you. Do i always need to remind you to not forget about this?

It’s…
