In the Name of Love
“Patriotism is when love of your own people comes first; nationalism, when hate for people other than your own comes first.”

“What clever man has ever needed to commit a crime? Crime is the last resort of political half-wits.”
“When we drink coffee, ideas march in like the army”
When he smiled…
He smiled in his sleep,
and her heart skipped a beat…
after hours of cradling,
and singing lullabies offbeat,
to a crying little human,
who didn’t want to sleep…
shook his rattle,
louder than his shriek,
while playing hide and go seek,
who threw up on her arm,
after his meal
and babbled as though
he could speak…
During his bath,
A moment she wished she could steal,
And store away…
Just like now, when he smiled in his sleep.

Mine ~ A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet
She is the love
The love that came
With no warning
She makes me feel
Alive
Her smile
Radiates the heat
Of a thousand suns
I look in her eyes
And I am seduced
Hypnotized
Enchanted
By the magnetic
Power of lightning bolts
She is magical
And mysterious
A lovely sorceress
And she is mine
