Nothing Ever Changes ~ A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet

Walt's Writings

Sometimes I feel lost
Like I am just
Wandering through life
Aimlessly
Day after day
Nothing ever changes
I take my medications
And try to stay awake
Walk the dogs
Clean Teakaโ€™s run-in
Try to do some writing
Do laundry
Walk the dogs
Try to stay awake
Worry about bills
Go to doctor appointments
Try to read new posts
Comment on posts and comments
Worry about bills
Walk the dogs
Try to stay awake
Take medications
And on, and on, and on
Nothing ever changes

  1. It is a wonderful Poem.
I look forward to reading your work.
Iโ€™m thankful that you are still bracing the newness of each day. Still walking your dog.
Having the independence of taking your own meds.
Still reading and getting a comment from you is an honor. You are greatly appreciated, Never forgotten.
    Perception definitely makes a difference.
A daily routine can seem like a drag, it does help to keep us grounded.
You can add something new or try something new each weekly.
Be that Change, itโ€™s Never too Late
