Ain’t Much Left Of Me ~ A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet

Walt's Writings

Maybe there ain’t much left of me
But what is left is the best I’ve ever been
My life ain’t what it used to be
And it sure ain’t what I thought it’d be
But it’s OK because what’s left
Is the best I’ve ever been
What I went through was a tragedy
But there ain’t nobody to blame but me
I danced with the devil and lost everything
But I’m still here
And I’m the best
I’ve ever been

  1. I’m still here
    So much more to give
    I win
    I’m still here

Lol…I felt there was more, my impulsiveness, I know. It felt like an ending… Absolutely adore the work of the Tennessee Poet
