Geniality

Come and enjoy!!

Confab With Me

I loved her for many reasons
her benign eyes
smiling through the glare of the sun
the long winding tresses
flowing haphazardly all over her visage
her melodious thoughts
that can put any soul in instant trance

And I loved her for reasons I cannot explain
like the zeal my heart is in in some momentary trice
and the urge to conquer the unattainable
when fear shows up in disguise
the azure skies appear charming
the boulders are divine
and the hope for a beautiful tomorrow seldom disappears or resign

But beyond all, I love you
for the geniality you possess
that unadulterated heart
that I can call to be mine

Why Bother?

A broader perspective on reality!!!

Confab With Me

You complain about your heart break
and now you think you’re shattered to pieces,
and the house you aspired to build,
but never conjure enough money to bring to bear
You nurture grudge,
keep anger close to your chest,
grow animosity,
become greedy,
you want to acquire wealth more than you can keep,
without realizing,
we are all are made of speck of dust
floating in a tiny celestial body
in a vast universe,
and all it will take is a meteor
to dissolve us all to oblivion

Come see if this is how it started for you????

A Faded Romantic's Notebook

Her picture on her profile.

It began with that.

His long finger was arrested in its lazy, languid, bored downwards scroll by her image.

A slight intake of breath. An appreciative lift of the eyebrows. A smile. An impossible sense of recognition.

He did not know her, but she seemed familiar.

He studied her face. The eyes, the mouth, the nose, the cheekbones.

He stroked the stubble on his chin, and leaned forward slightly in his chair.

With his eyes closed he imagined her.  And he could picture her completely in his head.

He guided the cursor and clicked the ‘follow’ button.

Her picture on her profile.

It began with that.

Failure as FEEDBACK | The Drive Magazine.

Don’t Miss Reading This Post!

Thriving Under Pressure

failure

There are two ways of looking at failure.

Failure as FEEDBACK.

Failure as PUNISHMENT.

⊕⊕⊕⊕⊕

One energizes.

The other paralyzes.

failure-is-success-in-progress

WHY FAILURE IS NECESSARY

I believe that failure is essential for success, at work and in our personal lives.

Failure lights our way to what we’re ultimately meant to do. Especially when we embrace it and consciously invite it into our lives. Pushing us past our comfort zones. Having the courage to take risks beyond our current circumstances.

Failure shows us what we’re good at, and equally what we are not skilled at. And how if we perceive failure as information (versus punishment) we will move on much more quickly to what we were born to do.

THE DRIVE MAGAZINE

I believe so strongly in the benefits of failure that I “pitched” failure as feedback to the editors of The Drive Magazine. And they said yes!

So…

Fields Of Unforgiveness ~ A Poem By Walt Page, The Tennessee Poet

Walt's Writings

Small minded people
Always planting seeds
Growing their fields of unforgiveness
Their blackened hearts
Are filled with hate
Even as they say their prayers
And sing their hymns
Everywhere I look
I see them
Spreading hatred across the land
You can actually see the hate
Rising above the fields
Creating a dense layer of hatred
We used to forgive
But those days are long gone now
And the angels are crying
