Lucid Being✨
She, A Magic
Lost in her enamor
on the verge of losing mysense
indulged in her aura
the yearnings so drenched
And such was the pull
she had on my heart
that even her gibble-gabble
sounded like the gospel of love

Quit
“You should quit smoking. It is a bad habit” said Stephen with an orotund voice, for he was tired of saying the same thing every time he saw her lit one.
She took a deep puff, looked towards the evening pewter skies, released the fumes in the cold mist, and said with a disembodied tone, “you too are a bad habit. Should I say quit to you as well.”
The grayness was too shallow for Stephen to get hold of her countenance, and he would never know whether it was an abysmal quip, or she flirting with emotions stored in her soul somewhere deep within.

Golden Memories
He braved his fear
and smiled through his tears
he fought back her thoughts
and disdain his love
Yet she kept resurfacing
from time to time
in whatever he did
and wherever he went
For her grief was not trivial
and his sorrow was excruciatingly deep
As she flowed in his veins
and lived in his breath
in those moments of despair
and between some chapters of his dreams
she remained at large
in every step, and every scene
He knew he wouldn’t succeed
to escape her sight,
so he made a deal
with his fleeting plight
The panacea he found
was a tad hard to believe
for he traded his sorrows
with her golden memories
and kept her impressions
fresh, next to his sight
and ignited his love
with her reminiscence by his side
