Message of goodwill

Didi's Art Design

Usually we have good thoughts for our dear ones
Let us widen our horzont
To give room for the whole world
For good thoughts, words and deeds to everyone

A message that should go
From heart to heart
Torchbearer of light
To bring love in every house

No more violent thoughts
No more harsh words
But kindness and love
Respect and goodwill

Or do we want to be a mirror
Of our bad thoughts?…

Beyond the Wall

scars untouched
like stars unseen
in the neglected wastelands
exist
where no cultured eye sees
pain persists
beyond the wall

see no evil
hear no evil
speak no evil
touch no unclean thing
hide
behind the wall
of
ignorance
bigotry
greed
and
pride

there thrive
fattened
off the fattened meats
hoarded

while the wall is boarded

hunger exists
pure
real
aching
a chorus in the wilderness
of empty-belly pleas
that reverberate off a civilized wall
unheard

scars untouched
radiate pain
through the midnight wasteland
the loveliest stars
by industrial giants’
smog-clouded,
wall-protected
eyes
unseen

Aching Hearts

Come and enjoy Sarah’s romantic – ACHING HEARTS

Sarah Doughty

“And tonight, under this moonlight,
my heart aches the most for you.”

And tonight, my heart aches the most for you. Tonight, I’m looking up at the moon, casting shadows and light across my darkened room, and I reach out with my fingers, touching the light and wishing that light was you instead. And I wonder. What would your skin look like in this light? Would it look as pale as mine? Would you feel warm beneath these fingertips? Would you stop the cold from spreading through me? Would you hold me? Stay with me? Would you be mine?

© Sarah Doughty

Tonight, I wonder if
you’re thinking of me too.
