Confusion

Confab With Me

We assume we are immortal,
with endless time
and we have in our possession
an eternity of charm

We keep spinning the wheel of life
running blind,
aspiring to achieve the next big thing,
forgetting love,
ditching relationship,
forgoing deeds

And soon we crush
the simple joys that life bestows
postponing happiness
and ignoring blithe

But then sardonic life ditches us
and lying on the sick bed
every materialistic possession
appears lackluster and bleak

All that matters then
are love and some moment of bliss
sadly though in life’s rat race
a lifetime vanishes
leaving behind
a saddened heart
and despaired eyes

Simple silence

Come read of the forever love of a Mother!!!

The Journey of My Left Foot (whilst remembering my son)

Saturday 15th December

.

It’s wonderfully warm

Though cloudy today

Decorated the tree

Ready for Santa’s sleigh

.

It’s different at Christmas

Without you here

There’s a simple silence

In our hearts you’re near

.

We miss you so much

Precious Angel son

xxxxxx

Breakfast ~ coconut pecan scone and starfruit

Bendy palm trees

A cloudy sunset

My sweet Angel

Always loved, always remembered

A little, festive tree
