Discovering digital
Recently I purchased a new iPad. Of course I rationalize it by saying that it’s because I need a bigger screen and a keyboard to write with, but the real reason is that I want to draw with Procreate and the new Apple Pencil.
If you’ve never tried Procreate the first thing you’ll notice is how many types of brushes there are. Last time I tried drawing on an iPad I was using the old Brushes app and a fat stylus to draw, so this a completely different experience. The new pencil also has a double-tap feature which makes it really easy to switch from brush to eraser and back again.
In my usual methodical way, I feel I have to get to know each tool individually, so I’ve been trying out the brushes one by one.
My first experiment was to see how close it could look to a…

I know you’re there
The Journey of My Left Foot (whilst remembering my son)
Sunday 9th December
.
I know you’re there
When late at night
Through the curtains
There’s a chink of light
A small moonbeam
Shining so bright
Such a calming
Wonderful sight
My Angel boy
On wings in flight
I do miss you
With all my might

Languishing lovers
I delight whenever you can cover me in your kisses
But your smile is what my heart most misses
And as twilight descends
Another day away from you ends
With lovely thoughts of you filling up my head

Tuesday’s Thoughts!
Come enjoy these beautiful quotes!!
Happy Tuesday! How is your December starting out? I hope well! Our tree is up and once again I get to sit in the ambience of the lights at night when the house is still. I love just sitting and looking at the tree and thinking. Or reading from my Kindle by the lights of the tree. We hope to go to a Christmas Village a night this week to see amazing lights. There is just something about lights that brings me peace when looking at them. I hope your heart can be at Peace throughout this season and into 2019!

bubbles of love

I would like to dedicate this to my muse, if I had one, but I don’t. So, I won’t. (Wink Wink)
bubbles of love
Soaking in an effervescent tub
of your warm poetry
tiny inspirations
burst all around me
Sparkling suds of passion
cleanse my soul
of the unsightly stains
of dirty lovers
and tainted memories
For you are the nymphet
of my passions
a sensual siren of sonnets
The warm bath
that never goes cold
Now I find myself
submerged in your verses
blissfully drowning
in the fountain
of your never ending
bubbles of love
