My Love Shouldn’t Be a Decree

Confab With Me

Let me give wind to your whispers,
and strength to your faint voice,
let me give love to your dwindling faith
and show you the stars exists
beyond those ostensible grays

And with the strength of the wind
and the force of my love
let me see you soar
breaking away the mold
where you are now captured
by your overthinking mind

And as you rise
I shall set you free
for no chain should constraint you
even my love should not be a decree
