By Charles Robert Lindholm
the ocean doesn’t hesitate
but races to the shore
embracing like lost lovers
as they never have before
the devil moon is calling
with a forceful, silent voice
the ocean must respond
the ocean has no choice
love is fierce and powerful
in it’s passionate display
but the ocean’s not like rocks
and is always pulled away
the ocean knows of love
it’s highs and of it’s low
the tide it has an ebb and flow
a holding on
and letting go
love is like the tide
but the shore can’t understand
