Playing the field
was not my desire
it seemed rather risky
like playing with fire
Pushing until
you’ve crossed over the line
hearts end up broken
most likely mine
love’em and leave’em
that’s not how I felt
it wasn’t a game
or a notch on a belt
Playing the field
a playground for thrills
the chase and the conquest
the score and the kills
Playing the field
when are you through
once you have learned
does it stop with “I do”?

A piece form your heart…playing with emotions and revenge in not your forte my dear. You are full of love and compassion.
