Your Thunder

If you love the passions and fury of an erotic and sensuous storm then come and enjoy – YOUR THUNDER

Midwest Fantasy Writes

thunder1I was caught

in the

thrashes of your thunder

passion’s rumbles

consuming me

like an all night storm

your wind’s fury

sweeping me up

into lightning hot heavens

never existing in my world

and not until dawn

did this furor of lust

calm into gentle sleep

Moments in Time

Come spend a few – MOMENTS IN TIME with this wonderful post!

real-lifepoetryblog

There are moments in time that will be like they are etched in glass.
They will show personailty, strength, weakness, along with some degree of class.
Higher, middle and even low
we will experience all three at some point throughout our lives as we continue to grow.
Some will be chosen for us by a higher power.
While some because we were in the wrong place at a particular hour.
Still all moments in time that become etched in stone.
If your lucky you will be the one who gets to chose these moments by choice of your own.
As they are given whether wanted or not these moments that go on to be deeply embedded,
must not be taken lightly for these are the blue prints of your life and where it is your life may be headed.

“This country now seems scared to take risks on foreigners, to bet on the possibility that the next boat full of strangers might be full of greatness.”

Accepting foreigners . . . is the risk a country must assume if it is to be a beacon to the entire world.

Art of Quotation

Boat People, Edel Rodriguez

“Boat people, that’s what many immigrants are considered. I was one of them, a refugee. I understand that welcoming strangers can be dangerous. Throughout history, many countries have sent their best, as well as their worst, to the United States. Irish gangs and the Italian Mafia, among many other criminal groups, flourished here soon after their arrival.

We have always lived with the dangers of accepting foreigners, and we have always dealt with them, knowing that those are the risks a country must assume if it is to be a beacon to the entire world.

This country now seems scared to take risks on foreigners, to bet on the possibility that the next boat full of strangers might be full of greatness.”

Help Me to Remember

Come read this moving and romantic poem – HELP ME TO REMEMBER

Dark Side of the Moon

I fear that I shall not long bear in mind
Memories I thought we’d always treasure;
But life’s uncertainties can seem unkind—
You and I have had more than our measure.
I’ve loved you without ever asking why.
Darling, we have been each other’s pleasure,
So do me this one favor ‘til I die:
With the cord of love retention tether,
Perchance this ill to sometimes nullify—
Help me to remember us together.
