I thought I knew what love was
but I found out that’s not true
I lived with the illusions
so long, but never knew
you’ve taken me to heights
that I could never reach
my heart has learned about the joys
that only you could teach
you showed me things
I longed to see
I learned of love
when
you
loved
me
