You left a beautiful scar
here on my heart
a lifetime reminder
why we’re apart
We had beautiful memories
from a time when you cared
we had dreams of a life
that will never be shared
The scar that I keep
was made by you
here on my heart
but hidden from view
Sometimes I feel it
in the dead of the night
where the knife blade cut
setting you free in flight
No longer bound
by vows or chains
you left a reminder
on my heart that remains
A Beautiful Scar
a reminder of You

It is my pleasure Yonnie! I just read your – The Rose and loved it! I’m always on the lookout for seeds of inspiration that writers leave for us readers and I have no doubt that I will be finding many from you!

Oops! So sorry for the typing errors, just realized that wordpress has no option for editing our own comments apologies

Yes, My Dear, I think it does. See the “Edit” at the end of the time/date stamp on your comment. I think if you click on it then you can edit it!

Umm..Google says that there is no provision so far on WordPress to edit/delete the comments we post on other’s blogs. The only alternative is to personally request them to edit or delete it.

Forget Google. Go to the comment above this response and look at the date and time below your name. Just to the right of that is ~ EDIT. Just click on that.

Ahh, Well you are free to edit your comment on my site, but you are correct that there are those that do not. Don’t know what to do about that. Well, maybe the view you see is not the one I see. Sorry. See if you can edit the comment you just made to me.

In fact I even checked wordpress support pages and found similar information which Google provided . Anyways its ok I will be more vigilant while typing comments from now on hahaha

Yes, I checked that too but at least on the comments you send I see and edit? I usually make a habit of rereading my comments to catch spelling/grammer. Picky me.

Oh, thank you so much for this lovely comment! Such an interesting question! Do we have an answer for this??? It’s sad that butterflies die so quickly but they are beautiful??

Beauty shouldn’t die! It should thrive. Doesn’t sadness linger longer than happiness now a days. A BLEEDING heart sings its grief to ease its pain and finds solace in others who resonate. But doesn’t this heart seek happiness, no matter the clouds, desire peace in chaos, bask in warmth than in cold. I pray that every heart, including mine of course, will find more and more reason to sing and dance, to somehow be happy truly from within and not just in mere pretense, no longer be scarred but heal, to celebrate life for real.

Thank you Sona for your wonderful comment! Yes, there is something about deep pain and saddness that does seem to last longer! Yes, I think everyone seeks to sing and dance and be happy!
