Looking for a Happier Life? Consider These Ten Ideas!

Don’t Skip this excellent and thought provoking piece – “Looking For A Happier Life – Consider These Ten Ideas”

Amazing Journey

1. Say “thank you.” Say it 100 times a day. “Thank you for holding the door.” “Thank you, God for this food.” I am grateful for the air in my lungs and the roof over my head. Gratitude will make you Love that annoying relative and turn the job you hate into an opportunity for growth. Gratitude not only adds happiness to your life, but it opens the floodgates of abundance.
2. Forgive yourself. Yeah you screwed up. A lot. We all do it. You can’t change the past. Why let it hold you back? Look in the mirror and say these words: “I know you were doing the best you could with what you had to work with. I forgive you.” You will be shocked by how much lighter you feel.
3. Forgive everybody. Forgive everything. This will change your life. I know it sounds crazy and impossible, but…

If I had to Choose

Do Not Miss this moving and heartfelt poem of Love – If I Had To Choose!”

If there was one thing about my day I would share it would be that you were in it.

If I had to say a prayer I would Thank God for allowing me to have you in my life to share it.

If I could have lunch with someone of my choice I would choose you to have it.

If I could take anyone I wanted with me on vaction I would choose you to do it.

If I had to choose between money or friendship I would choose you for it.

If I had on last dying wish it would be to have you their for it.

If I could change anything about my life it would be that you were always in it.

If I had to say one last thing about you I would say my life would not have been complete if I did not have…

There’s None Compares to You

Come and see if you feel the same about your Beloved – “There’s None Compares To You”

Objects, and the Distance Between Them

I wanted to write a poem
In which I compared you
To all the lovely things I know
The sun, the moon, the fire, the ice
To tell you I see nebulae in your eyes
But when I thought it through
All the way to the end
I realized, for sake of verse, I can’t pretend;
There’s none compares to you.
The sun is dull, it sheds no light.
The moon is new – dark and dreary night.
The fire is out, now ash and dirt.
The ice is melted – water, back to the earth.
And in your eyes
I see no stars…
I see no distant skies…
There are no words, no flowing lines
What is there cannot be described…

For though I know
that a field of stars breaks free the bonds of obscurity in the evening hours to paint the sky with the shimmer of a…

Come read this post and see if you aren’t tempted to go visit your little Kebbler friend, like me!

Poetry talks

Flour sprinkled all over the platform,

Along with little globs of butter,

A spatula left neglected by the sink,

And used utensils staring at me.

My apron is covered with chocolate,

And parts of my face is covered with flour,

Oh what a mess!

Finally I hear the beep of the oven,

And as I rush towards it,

I fall on my face,

The fall  thwarts me from reaching the oven,

But I pick myself up,

And as I start to reconcile to my fate,

I am forced to smile,

When I draw out a batch of perfectly baked cookies.

In the Nick of Time, I Have Thwarted the Enemy

Come read “In The Nick Of Time I Have Thwarted The Enemy” and see if it might be You!

Thriving Not Surviving

Each of us has a different enemy to face, that thing that is holding us back, keeping us from reaching our full potential. Who is yours? Your parents? Wife? Husband? Kids? Genetics? Luck? Fate? Kharma?

Who is to blame?

We blame discrimination, but there are successful people in every color. We blame inequity, but there are prosperous people from every gender. We blame favoritism, but there are wealthy people who have never been popular. We blame poverty, but there are famous people who have been homeless. We blame genetics, but there are fruitful people who have never been able to see.

Why have these people succeeded when others fail?

This is a question I desperately sought to answer, and in finding the answer I have thwarted the enemy. I have slayed the dragon. I have defeated the beast. I have conquered the castle.

I did not find the traitor by…
